Yesterday was a big day for me..we’re celebrating Easter week here in the Philippines and i am going away for a few days.  My coach wants me do to all my workouts b4 leaving so I have to do 2 big muscle group.  Actually its my first time to do both Chest and Back and b4 i started i was thinking if i can do heavy.  But determined as I am i have to at least try and yesss did it!!!!

I superset flat db press and 1 arm db row…or the flat db press i used 60lbs weight for 12 reps, then with no rest i used 90lbs db for 1 arm db row for 12reps too!! whew!! i need a drink…lol!! And did 3sets of that heavy superset, and my spotter said i did great…again!!!

So friends hopefully next week I will again surpass what i lifted this week..and will be glad to let u know how it goes.

WELCOME to my page! To start with let me introduce myself…am Rowena a Filipina fbb.  Been competing internationally for 2 years (this is my 3rd year).  I won Ms Asia Pacific 2008 and 2009 (Christchurch, NZ).  Did won 5th place on Mixed Pairs in Mr & Ms. Universe 2008 (NAC) held in Hamburg, Germany last 2008.  My last competition was Asian Championships 2009 in Pattaya Thailand (August 11-17, 2009) and i placed 3rd in the 52kg division.

This year I am preparing for Asian Championship 2010 which will be held in Singapore this coming September 29-October 3, 2010.  And hopefully to compete also in the 1st Women’s World Championship in Bangkok, Thailand sometime in early November.  This is both under the Asian Bodybuilding & Fitness Federati0n.  And if my health permits i wanna go back to Hamburg, Germany late November for Universe 2010.

I weigh 133lbs (as of March 30, 2010) lean…i am training very hard for my upcoming show mentioned aboved.  Been happy with my lifting nowadays, training 5days a week and enjoying my new training and diet routine with my new coach (he wants to stay unidentified though,lol). Every week my lifts are improving.  The best i did was able to do 85lbs on 1 arm db row, overhead db press for 50lbs and did 15reps.  Hope fully this week i can surpass these stats.
