			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sorry guys for not updating my blog recently, been so busy this past month.  Anyways am now on my 7weeks out to my show this year.  This morning i weigh 129.8lb, getting shredder, hard and vascular.  I love how my physique is progressing thru the contest prep. Quads still 24.5inches but getting defined, bi&#8217;s 15&#8243;, calves 15.5&#8243;, chest 35&#8243;.</p>
<p>Last weekend I went to Manila and watched the Asian Benchpress Championship.  Countries present are Iran, Kazakstan, Hongkong, Chinese Taipei and Japan.  Wow it&#8217;s my first time to watch a powerlifting competition and I enjoyed.  And maybe i will soon try powerlifting during offseason, lol.</p>
<p>I also had a photoshoot with a very talented photographer and pics came out so great! U can see it in my gallery.  I also had agreat time with friends, bb&#8217;s and not.  I&#8217;ll share with u here some pics, to see the plain Rowena having fun aside fr training.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Another week of training has passed and I may say that am doing good with my contrst prep.</p>
<p>I got an invitation from NABBA International to join and defend my 2009 title for the 2010 Asia Pacific Bodybuilding Championship on the 27th-28th of August in Cook Islands.</p>
<p>Been thinking about it if am going or not&#8230;and my decision is NO.  I think 2 years of winning in Asia Pacific Champs is enough for me, I need to go try other competition and i am really preparing for the September show and maybe another one before the year ends.</p>
<p>So I still have 3mos to get shredded before my September show.  To all my subcribers new pics and videos are again posted.</p>

<p>I want to thank all of you who come visit and chat with me, thank you very much to all my subscriber.  I hope you continue guys to subscribe on me, will be recording more videos this coming week so please be patient.  And progress pics are posted weekly till my contest and u will be the first to see my contest shape and my contest pics and vids&#8230;PROMISE!!!</p>
<p>In preparing for my competition I really enjoy coming here and talking with you in Free, Group and One on One Chats.  You guys helped me in so many ways.  Give me drive on my so-so days and helped me realized that i have a goal to meet and that is&#8230;Asian Championships.</p>
<p>Your financial help (thru paid chats and subscribing) has enabled me to get my needed  supplements and has taken stress off me and enabled me to concentrate on working out harder to obtain the ultimate prize.</p>

<p>I am too excited for this contest prep&#8230;can&#8217;t wait to see my body shredded but bigger than last year.  Oh well not so big but i did put on some size than last year, and am working hard to shred it even my quads.</p>

<p>As of today i am 136.6lb and yes i can say that am ready to cut up, to get shredded.  While i was away i had a chance to train with some friends and they we&#8217;re amaze of how strong i have become..strong and huge as they say!</p>
<p>Hope u continue to read my blog and join me to count days, weeks out to my show!! Remember i am starting at 136.6 and lets see how i can go down with my weight&#8230;i&#8217;ll do it slowly but surely!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hi friends, another week of heavy training has quickly passed and yeah had some good lifts again this week.</p>
<p>This past week i started a new training, so i did not squat 300 last Monday..i went down to 185 (full squat) but 10 set of 10reps!! With 3 foot variations&#8230;and know what? i was in pain for 4days!! I couldn&#8217;t walk properly, walking like a duck,lol.  And if i have to go down stairs it will take me 5mins!  sore soooo good, quads are hard as rock!</p>
<p>Tuesday was chest/back day, i posted pics in the gallery and a video.  It&#8217;s pretty hard doing 2 major muscles but i had to do it and i had fun doing it!lol</p>
<p>Wednesday is cardio with abdominals only, Thursday is just cardio.  Friday did HIIT early morning (4am) and did glutes/hams in the evening.  Friday is usually the start my refeed which stretch down to half day on Sundays.  Guess what i ate after my training! &#8230;.2 slices of pizza!! friends am on a diet..lol!</p>
<p>Saturday was a big day! i had carbs all day (350grams), and i had my ice cream, i love my coach! hahaha.  Did arms in the morning and shoulders in the evening.  I was able to go heavier than last week&#8230;i lifted 130lb on military press.  I took some vids but the quality is not so good.  Admin wants to post it still so we agreed to post it   for FREE!!  U can check my page now to be able to watch the 4vids&#8230;</p>
<p>Now its Sunday here in the Philipines and shoulders are sore but i dont mind at all&#8230;.its rest day again and getting ready for another week of  intense training.  And will be going away for a holiday starting Friday of this coming week till  <a href="http://www.athletehomepage.com/blog/rowena/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/april2010-096.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-50" title="april2010 096" src="http://www.athletehomepage.com/blog/rowena/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/april2010-096-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" /></a> May but i will still update u all of what is happening and will still see u guys online fr time to time!</p>
<p>BTW my latest stats..shoulders is 20&#8243; fr 19&#8243; last March, bi&#8217;s 14.5, quads 24&#8243; and i weigh 133lb as of today, another 7lb fr my 140lb goal.  Hoping i&#8217;ll get there soon!!</p>

And everyday (at noontime) we have power interruption, we have generator set though but can&#8217;t use a/c.  So i am confined in my room the whole day after my training.  Well this is good though coz i am focus on my training, no extra activities.</p>
<p>This week i again went up with my lifts, i did 300lbs on squat (5reps 5sets).  380 on leg press (10reps 3sets), 200lbs on Rack Pulls  (5reps 5sets), 95lbs on 1 arm db row (8reps 3sets).  Went up also on flat bench press for 200lbs (5reps 5sets), incline db press for 60lbs db each hand (10reps 3sets)and last nite (Sat) i lifted 120lbs on military press (5reps 5sets) my overhead db press is 50lbs (12reps 3sets).</p>
<p>And as of today April 11 my weight is already 132lbs (8lbs away fr my 140lbs target).BI&#8217;s is now 14.5, chest and hips 36&#8243; , quads 24&#8243; and calves 16&#8243;.</p>
<p>All is good with training and nutrition, and so happy that i have been chatting with all of u here in the website.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nice to be back after a few days of just relaxing on the beach&#8230;but i do miss my everyday workout and am very eager to start the week again!  But before anything else, happy Easter everyone!!</p>
<p>Went for an out of town trip for a few days, we drive for almost 5hours to get to the coastal area of Aurora Province.  Well i know most of you guys are not familiar of the place but its nice sometimes to just go around the area, not to always go to city or out of the country.  We passby the Sierra Madre mountains before we get to our final destination.</p>
<p>The beach was a refreshing change of environment, and i do really love beaches (am a nature lover, lol).  I had the opportunity to get my tan more darker, the chance to wear my bikini (lol)and chance to just hangout with friends.</p>
<p>As expected i am again a head turner on the beach and heard ppl arguing if i am a man or a girl (lol),  Well Filipino ppl esp remote areas are not used seeing a muscular woman like me.  But i am used to people&#8217;s reaction, love it coz it makes me different fr most Filipino women.</p>
<p>Anyways i did enjoyed my trip and now back to reality, back to getting my bod bigger!! Its time to break my records last month and go heavier.  Will keep u posted for my developments here, so watch out friends!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yesterday was a big day for me..we&#8217;re celebrating Easter week here in the Philippines and i am going away for a few days.  My coach wants me do to all my workouts b4 leaving so I have to do 2 big muscle group.  Actually its my first time to do both Chest and Back and b4 i started i was thinking if i can do heavy.  But determined as I am i have to at least try and yesss did it!!!!</p>
<p>I superset flat db press and 1 arm db row&#8230;or the flat db press i used 60lbs weight for 12 reps, then with no rest i used 90lbs db for 1 arm db row for 12reps too!! whew!! i need a drink&#8230;lol!! And did 3sets of that heavy superset, and my spotter said i did great&#8230;again!!!</p>
<p>So friends hopefully next week I will again surpass what i lifted this week..and will be glad to let u know how it goes.</p>
